At the jammed packed "2010 Best of SCAT Awards" held at the SCAT studios, I was pleased to accept the Best Hot Set Award for 2009 for "Greater Somerville" from Somerville Community Access Television.
It has been my pleasure over the last year to provide to Somerville viewers and beyond, unique, original content about Somerville people, places and issues. I look forward to bringing you Somerville perspectives from the folks who actually make news, shape our opinions and participate to make things happen.
And you can't get that kind of perspective from reading the link-laden, copy and paste blogs of the day.

I am thrilled to inform you that "Greater Somerville" has been nominated for the Somerville Community Access Television's 2009 Best Hot Set show.
The 2009 Awards will be announced at the SCAT Awards ceremony to be held on January 28, 2010 beginning at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be served from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
This years MC and host for the ceremonies is comedian Jimmy Tingle.
If you plan to attend the ceremonies, get there early, the place is usually packed with Somerville newsmakers and artistic shakers.
